GPS Cell Phone Tracking

There are many applications out there today that can be downloaded onto a cell phone that will allow another party to track the location of the cell phone.  The one thing that most people have to understand however is that unless they get access to the phone for along enough time to covertly download the application, they won't be  able to track the cell phone.  So this article is going to start with the assumption that you have access to the phone that you want to track.  This makes covert tracking a little more intimate because you have to know the person well enough to have access to their phone.  This means that tracking spouses, teens, children, partners is going to have the best chance of covert tracking.

Tracking random individuals will be much harder using these types of GPS tracking applications because in those cases, you won't have access to their phone, unless you are a spy and you are good at that type of thing and in that case, you don't need to read this article because you already know what you need to know to track the target.

Some tracking applications offer more than one feature with their GPS tracking software.  You will not only be able to track the current location of the cell phone, but you will be able to track the call history and the text messaging as well.

One application is called the Phone Beagle and works only on Android and Blackberry phones.  You download software to the target phone and then you can use either your phone or an online web application to monitor the phone usage.  This application is great for making sure your teen isn't sexting, or is where they are supposed to be.  On the Android phones, the application is hidden so the target user doesn't know it's installed.
